Welcome to the largest ASCCA chapter in California. Our group encompasses most of the Foothill area which includes La Canada, Pasadena, Monrovia, Glendora, El Monte and portions of East LA, Whittier, through Rowland Heights, Diamond Bar, and Walnut. Because of our size our group can share experiences with each other to help better each individual shop. We hold several events for the local shop owners and their mechanics:
Keep an eye out for these exciting events as well:

Shop Nights – Alternating between our general meetings, Shop Nights are very popular with our members. Hosted at either a member’s shop or at a variety of industry-related businesses, they may include a short tour of the facility, some vendor booths, a light meal, then a brief talk. Plus, the more casual setting of these Shop Nights allows members, techs, and guests to comfortably network—talk shop, if you will—and thus create valuable industry-related camaraderie.

Chapter-to-Member Communication All Chapter 5 members receive the Foothill Forum newsletter. It is designed to help keep you up to date with the latest news and technology in the automotive repair industry. Plus, we routinely send out E-Mail Blasts, informing members of the latest classes, workshops, and Latest BAR changes.

Chapter Socials –Hey, meetings can’t always be on the serious side – it’s important to cut loose every once in a while and invite our employees and families out for a day or an evening of fun. Some of our more popular events are the Irwindale Speedway, Santa Anita Racetrack or our ever popular October Fest Bowling Night.

Member/Vendor Directory Our Directory is a handy resource whenever our members need to contact either a new or existing Chapter 5 member or any of the vendors listed throughout the Directory.

Education Workshops – Regularly scheduled throughout the year, our workshops are taught by highly-respected experts in their field, and offer members and employees valuable hands-on education within the auto repair industry.

Chapter-only Discounts – Factory Motor Parts, ACDelco, ,Pacific Management Service, Allied Auto Parts, Ernies Auto Parts, Walnut Auto Parts and  all offer discounts to our members.

 Foothill Chapter Continuing Education

The Foothill Chapter of ASC strongly believes in continuing education. The advancements made in automobiles every year means Foothill Chapter members will be attending more seminars. Business management practices also must be sharpened and enhanced to provide better service to our customers. For these reasons, our chapter schedules – exclusively for our members – advanced technical and business management seminars each year. As long as automobiles continue to include state-of-the-art improvements, we will continue to hold special training classes for our members.
